HALF DAY BOSPHORUS MORNING CRUISE

KABATAS PIER, ORTAKOY, BEYLERBEYI PALACE, RUMELI FORTRESS

This tour takes you to Bosphorus and Asian side of Istanbul where you will have great views to the the Ottman palaces and summer pavillons used by family of Sultans

In the morning,we will pick you up from the hotel at 08.30-08.45 and then head to our boat awaiting at Kabatas Pier.

First stop is Ortakoy which is located in Beşiktas district. Today , Ortakoy (means MiddleTown) is known for its restaurants, clubs and cafes .

Once we get there, we’ll have a free time for half an hour. Many market stalls and local markets for shopping and also chance to taste local delicatessen. Tour Guide will provide you the necessary information about the historical mosque the famous Ortakoy Mecidiye , which it is under restoration .

After Ortakoy, we will head to Asian side to visit the Beylerbeyi Palace.The palace was constructed in the same style like the Dolmabahce Palace and built during Sultan Abdülaziz. It looks like the European palaces of the 18'th century and decorated with ornaments in the Oriental baroque form.

It has 24 rooms and 6 halls.The french and Turkish artists created the ceiling decorations. There is no heating system as it is a purpose build summer palace..

On the wy back to European side there will be snack and drink service on the boat.

Last stop is Rumeli Fortress. it needs to be mentioned here too as this building played an important cruicial part in the History, being build by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II on the European side of Istanbul between 1451 and 1452, in order to prevent aid coming through Black Sea to Byzantine Capital Constantinople as well as having control over the ships using the waters. We’ll stop for half an hour at the castle.
