TURKISH BATH IN MARMARIS

There are REAL Turkish baths (or hamam as we turks call it) out there, and we know where they are!! There are not many real proper turkish baths in marmaris but only few.

The majority of the Baths are located within the big Hotels in Marmaris. They are not real nor have the traditional layout, not to be mentioned that they are not even used by any ordinary Turkish Person.

Indulge yourself while taking a journey into the past.

We will Pick you up at your hotel at the arrange time and head to Turkish Bath in Marmaris which the journey can take up to twenty minutes depending where you are.

Once you go in to the building of the Turkish Bath, you will be shown to some cubicles where you undress down to your swimsuit and wrap yourself in the towel provided, called pesternal... Ladies must bring along their swimmwear.

and then proceed to a large, domed-shaped room where you will see a large warm Marble where you can lay down and start to sweat. This large marble called gobek tasi.

A foam massage and a rub down.

Relaxation in the shade.

Return transfer to the hotel.
