TURKISH BATH IN MARMARIS

There are REAL Turkish baths (or Hamam as we Turks call it) out there, and we know where they are!! There are not many real proper Turkish baths in Marmaris but only a few.

The majority of the touristic Baths are within the big Hotels in Marmaris. They are not real nor have the traditional layout, not to mention that any ordinary Turkish Person does not even use them.

Indulge yourself while taking a journey into the past.

We will pick you up at your Hotel at the arranged time and head to Turkish Bath in Marmaris which the journey can take up to twenty minutes depending on where you are.

Once you go into the building of the Turkish Bath, in the changing cabinets, you will down to your swimsuit and wrap yourself in the towel provided. Ladies must bring along their swimwear. And then proceed to a large, dome-shaped room where you will see a sizeable warm Marble where you can lay down and start to sweat. This large marble called "Gobek Tasi". You will receive a relaxing foam massage before a rub down. Your Hamam experience will finish when you relaxed in the Shade before returning to your Hotel.
